Puzzle
Gridlock Gardens
★★★★☆ 4.3
Gridlock Gardens is a comfort game. You slide tiles to line up flowers with water and sunlight, and each solved board grows a little more of your garden. It's the sort of thing you play one-handed while half-watching something else.
What raises it above the usual match puzzles is the escalating logic. Later levels add seasons and locked tiles that force you to plan several moves ahead. It gets genuinely tricky without ever feeling mean.
There's no timer and no pressure, which I loved. You can sit on a puzzle for as long as you want. It's the kind of game that's quietly sat on my home screen for a month now.
